Having seen several photos in the press recently of almost empty reservoirs in the South East, I'm wondering why the water authorities in this area arn't sending advice out to their customers to fill an empty plastic milk bottle with water (or some other device) & place it in their cisterns to reduce water consumption?

Also, with reservoirs in the North and Wales full of water, how long do we have to wait before the water authorities in the south start investing in pipelines to equalise the availability of this precious commodity throughout the country?

I live in Wales, you leave our water where it is!
Very selfish Toureman, typical of the Welsh. Here in Sussex we have a problem, reservoir wise, and are short of water, but you will take all our tourist trade when the summer comes won't you? Money, money, money!
