However economically it might not be possible. I can think of few countries that could afford to build such a monument and those that could afford it wouldn't get away with the cost to the monument to a single man.
I'd guess Chairman Mao was probably the last person who might have had the ability to build a pyramid.
Perhaps it could be done...I'm not so sure.
A more interesting question would be....could it be done today using the SAME technology (practical aspects like time, cost etc not withstanding)....and the answer would be a big fat NO!
It's still a mystery how the massive granite slabs forming the roof of the gallery were placed.
The way this gallery was constructed would have meant that there was very little room for the workers to actually get in there to place them in situ...and they weigh in excess of 50 tons!
