Strangely enough, the State flag of Hawaii has the Union Jack in a top corner !!!

These countries and territories have a Union Flag on their flag.

Anguilla, Australia, British Antarctic Territory, Bermuda, British Indian Ocean Territory, British Virgin Islands, Cook Islands, Cocos Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Heard & McDonald Islands, Montserrat, Niue, New Zealand, Pitcairn Islands, South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands, St. Helena & Dependencies, Tokelau, Tristan da Cunha, Turks & Caicos Islands, Tuvalu which comes to 22.,

Nothing strange about Hawaii having the Union Flag -- it was a British protectorate before being annexed by the USA.

I supposed the correct answer to your question is that no country has the Union Jack as part of their flag, although many have the Union Flag. :)

Hehe, Pinotage, I guess it depends if they all have a navy and fly their jack ;)
The Union Jack's name has been good enough for most of the last 400 years, until recently when people tried to read everything too literally. The name has also been good enough for Parliament to use. It is true that jacks are worn on jackstaffs. They are usually of a similar design to a country's flag but smaller. In our case, Jack happens to be the second word in the name of the flag that is the nearest thing we have to a national flag.

Depends what you mean by a national flag though!!....

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is represented by the combined flags of countries that are not recognised by the United Nations as independent states with their own independent political and social structures - that define a nation.

The Isle of Man is not part of the UK, but a Crown Dependency with the Queen as head of state, but again has its own Parliament and laws, but is not part of the EU, but is an Associate - work that out of you can.....

So there are national flags for Guernsey, England, Wales and so on keep your eyes on the Commonwealth Games for the list - that are national flags, but the Union Flag is the one for the political state of the United Kingdom.
