Ghost Book

Hi!

My sister was telling me about a book someone had told her about. It was written in1915 I think she said and it is about a French woman who is haunted by a ghost who tells her that when you die if you were prepared for death then you enter into a deep sleep only to re-awaken thousands of years later. People who arent prepared are the spirits that wander the earth and people have sightings off. Apparantly it is suppose to be based on a true encounter/story.

Does anyone know what this book is called? I know it's a long shot and apparantly it is hard to come by too, but I would be interested in learning more about it.
