1950s police stations
Did the cells in police stations in the 1950s have small windows with bars on that were at ankle height from the outside?
they would surely have had glass in, as well as bars, but does anyone know if the glass bit could be opened?
no guesses please, this needs to be very accurate.
many thanks for any help
