In the middle of the track American Dream there is a short piano piece played. Was this written specifically or is this a sample from another track? If it was then what was the other track called and who did it?

I think it's from the film American Beauty, the bit where the plastic bag is being blown around. I think it's called Plastic Bag theme or something. Check out the American Beauty Soundtrack. Hope that helps.
