Don't know whether this is a related question but i had a strange question from my sister in london asking me to look for a bullet proof vest in the army surplus stores for my niece ? is this the fashion at the moment or i am sorry if this as nothing to do with what you asked.
If you mean the kind of body armour that rugby players wear as a sort of skin tight insulating layer then i think that all the prices will be about similar. I bought one from 'under armour' and one from 'canterbury'.
if you need it for work then under the health & safety act 1974 its your employers responsiblity to provide you with aqeduate PPE (personal protective equipment) to carry out your role. Unless of course your 'round' happens to be in Moss Side or South Central Los Angeles.
Hiya tamiya, I only just spotted this thread on the front page.
Anyhow, I get all my supplementary kit from Springfields - dont know if its suitable for what your doing and it isnt cheap though ..
Hi Tamiya, I hope youre still reading this!
Springfields are expensive but they do provide legitimate products rather than the tat you see on ebay etc.
If youve found somewhere cheaper then please let me know - the kit has to be rated though.
Thanks in advance.
