simon, you probably have mice lol
what has that got to do with history and myth?

Maybe you have a ghost? Talk to them while you're walking around your house. They don't like being ignored.

kazza12345 if you look in your history books you will find women were burnt for owning a cat and were thought to be witches because cats were said to be linked with the supernatural. Is this a fact are cats sensitive to these things can they see what we cant or is it a MYTH infact i would say it deffinetly is a truth or a very old infact hundred years old MYTH
In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

When your cat tells you it was a ghost, I will believe you.
Question Author

thank you. does any body else believe cats are sensitive to things we are not. if it was a mouse he wouldnt of got scared hissed spat and growled he would of just eaten it.

Dogs and cats both, they sense things that we cant, lucky or not!!
i don't really see what you are getting at. Your cat wanted to go out. and let you know. That is a fact, not a myth!
Question Author

ha ha theres always one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is a fact that has never been proven considered a Myth?

Question Author
yes i think your right,a myth is something that hasnt actually been proven.it isnt an actual fact.
Cats can hear sounds at great distances - four or five times farther away than humans. So it was probably tuning into something you and it couldn't see, and you couldn't hear but he could. Don't freak the cat out by telling him it's ghosts or the monster under the stairs, you'll only scare him.
Question Author
yeah but cats have great hearing all of the time yet in 6 years hes only went crazy once.
The answer to your question is that probably your cat sensed a presence in the room that you did not. Animals are much better equipped to sense energy at a different frequency to most humans - I say most humans because there are those that choose to change their frequency to connect with these energies too. If the reaction of the cat and the feeling that there may be a "dark" presence in your house scares you imagine white light around you and your house when you go to bed. If all else fails call in the experts - Amara xx
this is the reason i will not get a cat i've seen my mums cat do this in her house and it scared the sh*t out of me
Not that this has got anything to do with anything but, I was talking to a man today who told me that they had a friends dog to stay (with their dog) for a few days. One night his dog came up to him in bed and assuming the dog wanted to go out he went downstairs and opened the door. His dog didn't go out, but the friends dog who was staying went out and had a huge pee. This happened the next day as well. Does this mean that dogs talk to each other?
