Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I'm doing a quiz based on numbers and letters I think are related to dates in history, can u help please!!

1979=W / 11901=AOA / 1981=WBO / 3158=HRTSP / 1924=TI / 71241=AOPH / 10468=WSIWH / 1990=AAAMT / 1879=EBPM / 2621839=FGNAA / 1091930=SHBJ / and lastly 70000000=EKP Thanx for much needed help Betti Boo.

Another one Betti - 70 million BC = End of Kretaceous Period - not the usual spelling of Cretaceous, but does seem to be used.

Re 1879 - thought it might be Became Prime Minister, but no-one became British PM in 1879 - another country ? Edison was prolific at this time ?

Only stand alone 'W' I can think of is Watergate - but definitely not 1979.

Wonder if 1981 is a Bridge or Building Opened, but can't suss any W's, only bridges opened were Humber & Brooklyn.

Hard work, but good fun too !

Hi stubbings, Great to hear back from u so soon! your help with the 70 million question is fantastic !! and It must be the answer although there is no O between E and K is there anything else the E could stand for ? like Extinct perhaps ??? Also I live in New Zealand so some of these will relate to NZ maybe E ? became prime minister in NZ? and the 1981=WBO, I think is Wellington Beehive Opened ? This is the first quiz like this I have tried and although some are relatively easy others are driving me nuts !! but with your much appreciated help I'm gettig there cheers Betti Boo.
