i have report to do in college about Quakers. need to know any myths within the religion
One Quaker myth is about this bloke called jesus who could turn water into wine and curse fig trees.
A very famous one is that back in the time of the highland evictions they came up with the idea of rolling oats to make a cheap, but nutritious, meal.

Another is that they always wear big black hats.
One myth is that they taste good with salt in.
I know they don't from personal experience.
Hope this helps.
Oh, and a really old one (from Elizabethan times) is that they eat babies.
In my younger days I used to go to dances where the highlight of the night was dancing to "quaker" music.....twice around the floor then outside for your oats! Boom Boom!!
That one certainly qualifies as a myth Catso. Not only are they the very opposite of that, but they were not founded until the 17th century.
.... there is a Quaker myth with a problem at http://tinyurl.com/hasnb ......
