Does anyone know the name of those toys that were out years ago, they were like animals which you could open and inside you could put stuff in, I know I'm not describing it very well but all I can remember is that it was late 80s or early 90s!

They were made of plastic and had a lock and key, cute though and you could brush the hair I think!

I'm just confusing myself even more now so anyone understand what I'm on about?? Please help, I don't even know why I thought about them but not remembering the name is bugging me!!

I was too old to have a Keyper..my younger sister had Sheldon, and later on had the horse called Diamond.

Gonna have to have a look on ebay ~ I am old enough not to care about whether I should have one or not now!

I never had one but my friend had loads that she let me play with! I was more a snugglebum kinda girl!!! They were so cute and I still have them now!

Snugglebums! my sister had those too..I think she still has one left. She was born in 1977 so woul dhave had the same tastes as you.

Did you have those god awful platinum haired 'Crystal' Barbie dolls? I used to buy those for her!

I didn't have any of those dolls Pippa, I loved snugglebums though and I had a talking mirror too that my gran bought for me, I wish I still had that, it was fabulous, pink with a hologram inside, loved it! The memories are all flooding back now!

I had Sheldon too - a purple and white snail I think it was.
I think I got it from Hamleys on my first big trip to London.
