Could it be the WOMEN'S ROYAL NAVAL SERVICE?

There seems to be a bit of conflicting information but the link below, from the Royal Navy Museum, says it was created in 1917 and disbanded as a separate service in 1993.

might be the WRAC, or Womens Royal Army Corps as they were kniow, I dont know when they were disbanded though

According to Wikipedia, the WRAC wasn't formed until 1949 and disbanded in 1992

we knew them as: Weekly Ration Army C**t or growndsheets, they had a reputation for being easy meat.
when I called one a rack once she said to me "im a W R A C, a rack is something that gets screwed into a wall" I replyed " well if you insist, which wall shall I screw you into"?
