Pich battle of Aldershot

In the 60s the whole parachute regiment fought a running battle with the Durham Light Infantry on the streets of Aldershot. Can anybody give me any info on the subject like date,and the pub it started from? Thank you, Gordon

My answer would still be the same as when you asked this question on 25/05/2006. Sorry to learn you still don't have an answer!
The same question also appeared under the name of 'Rebajaya' on the same day, and is listed in 'Search the site'. It shows there were 4 answers. Strangely, clicking on that question returned by 'Search' produces no results.
