I will write the question as it is on the sheet, but the date worries me.
'Rudyard Kipling wrote the first one in 1952. Nowadays we still have it. What do we call it now (colloquially!)

(Could be something to do with Christmas)

I believe the first Royal Christmas was 1932 and that was written by Rudyard Kipling. I imagine that "1952" is in error for "1932" but the answer would perhaps be "Royal Christmas Speech" rather than "Queen's Speech" since the first would have been written for King George.

Except the question asks for "what we call it now (colloquially)" - which is the Queen's speech, surely. Read the question!

Is it not known colloquially as the Queens' Christmas message. Surely the Queens Speech is delivered at the Stae opening of Parliament.

Well, in all the Christmas lunch aftermaths I've experienced I've never heard anyone say "Who wants to watch the Queen's Christmas Message?".

Incidentally, Queens' Christmas Message would be something else entirely...
