What is supposed to be buried under the famous sphynx on the Giza plateau.

I understand that the tale of something being buried under the Sphinx is just a myth. Nothing has so far been discovered. The Sphinx is carved from the solid bedrock of the Giza Plateau so if there is anything below it it'll be in an undiscovered shaft, passage or chamber.

As far as we know nothing is supposed to be buried under the sphinx. There are as many rumours as there are grains of sand in the area about what might be buried there. These include secret chambers, tunnels, shafts, bodies of gods, tablets and on and on.

In answer to drochit there are cavities under the front paws of the sphynx, they havent fully explored them. By the way has anybody seen the Sphynx in real life, its totally unimpressive in my opinion.

there is supposedly something inside the sphinx, revealed by an xray. but of course its impossible to get it out. i did read about this a few years ago, having been interested in egyptology. it claimed it was shown to have something made of metal in it. possibly a load of rubbish, who knows.

Sorry Harmony, what I read in your post was, "According to the famous American psychic... blah blah blah blah blah..." etc Perhaps it's just me but whenever I see real, true life questions or quandaries answered by so called psychics, mediums, new age gurus, wizards, astrologers, channelers, etc, I just close off. I want to understand the world around me, the universe and all of it's wonders, but if I truly believed those answers were available simply by listening to the first huxter who came along with a theory he received in a dream or by throwing a few quartz crystals in the air then I'd slit my wrists tomorrow. Actually, I'd like to recommend that as a course of action for anyone who does! What's below the Sphinx? Atlantis of course! How do I know? hi al I have read Edgar Cayce, he was a visioneer, who got answers while he was in a sleep like trance. Harmony is rt about the reading frm Cayce.
