I have to make a phone call to someone called "Savva Savva" who works out of Spitalfields. Where do you think they come from and do I call him Mister Sawa or Mister Sawa Sawa? Its a bit confusing.

It means different things to different cultures, so I doubt you would be blamed if you got it wrong. In Japan, the name Sawa is usually female, but in Arabic it means together. The words Sawa Sawa mean in Sudanese colloquial Arabic "equally and together".
Hmmm, are you sure its not someone with a lisp or front teeth missing. They might mean Sarah Sarah who works out of Somerfields. Just call him Sawa...
good manners would dictate that when you contact the persdon you ask them how they would like to be addressed,
Crete that's a bit of catch 22 - you'd have to greet them/confirm you were speaking to them before you asked them their preferred mode of address. Ania is clearly trying to be polite in the first instance.
Unfortunately Ania I don't know.. Do you know it's a male? If not maybe just ask for Sawa Sawa without the prefix.. If they're all the contact details you've got, what can you do?
