"Erected in memory of our dear son and brother Robert George Lyon aged 20y who died 11.5.1972 when SS Royston Grange was lost with all hands after collision and ensuing fire in the River Plate. Interred in the British Cemetery Montivideo"

There is a memorial window to the Royston Grange in All Hallow's Church which is near the Tower of London. It was dedicated at a memorial service to the crew and passangers some months (maybe a year) after the disaster. The Royston Grange was hit by a Liberian tanker.

I thought that all of the bodies were in Uraguay as most of them were so badly burned they were unidentifiable (no dna back then).
The Royston Grange was docked and waiting to go into port the next morning, when it was hit by the Liberian tanker 'Twang Che' I think or something similar.
