Civer
Some time ago I asked a question about the occupation of Civer and Marleywoman. One kind person put me on to a long list of occupations, one of which was Ackerman. I'm afraid I can't now find that list and would like to look at it again .
Can you help - again - p[lease?

Hello again, Kempie,
No - when we had our conversation last time we established that the seives I was thinking of were made of wood as all my ancestors were wood workers and they seem to have produced something like the swill baskets still made in the Lake District.
Someone gave me a tremendously long list of occupations, one of which I remember was Ackerman, but I can't find it anywhere.
I live in hope and thank you once again for your interest.
