WW2 submarine

I have found some family photos of a beached submarine, probably taken during or just after WW2 and probably on the North Wales coast. Anyone know anything about this or know who would please?

Just as a matter of interest my father employed a Polish diver who reached the Thetis and single-handedly frantically tried to open a hatch with his bare hands (time for survival of those inside had about run out). He managed to open the hatch about an inch when water pressure overcame him and the hatch slammed down taking the last two fingers and part of his right hand with it. He received a bravery award.

Submarine L52 at Sully Beach, Barry 1935

On 13th September 1935 the submarine L52 broke her tow and ran aground two days later at Sully. In the ten days she was stranded, she attracted thousands of sightseers, as most people had never seen a submarine. She was refloated on the 26th and borken up later that year.
