I live in the US, but I have a friend who lives on in Glasgow named Siobhan who says she has a problem with seeing ghosts, and has been able to since she was 5 (she's 12 now). Anyway, back when she was 6 years old and living on Earl Street, she says she was attacked by a male ghost, who appeared to be in his 30s, which started choking her. She said he had brown hair and sharp green eyes. She said that she broke free from his grip and ran, but he began to chase after her. I guess he faded out after a while; She didn't say what happened after he started chasing her. And if it's important to anyone, she said he was chasing after her on foot, not floating in the air.
Mansfield Street, Glasgow was indeed an extremely haunted place, especially for the "Hanlon" family in the early 1960's.
I know the Hanlon family very well who underwent such a terrible haunting & still to this day the full family are still affected by what happened to them in that house which was 23 Mansfield Street, Partick, Glasow.
There were news reports regarding their hauntings within the "Daily Record" & also the "evening Times".
Not everything was reported due to the nature of the hauntings but, i can assure you that the family were severely traumatized by it all & still to this day, the lady of the house (at the time) Mrs Mary Hanlon who is now 83yrs old remembers it all as if it were only yesterday.
Sadly her husband Mr Lauchlan Hanlon passed away 12yrs ago, he never liked to talk about the family's experience in Mansfield.
All the family moved from that house & the children now have families of their own & most of the Hanlon's now live in West Lothian.
One particular Hanlon child still gets paranormal activity around them even though they live in West Lothian. Im not just talking about a wee white ghost who shouts boo! Im talking about continued poltergeist activity which has been very disturbing to this Hanlon child & their family.
