jjf2003: first you be damn sure zat ze guy asking ze question is english. if not so, think about writing your questions in dutch or french or kisuaheli or whichever languache you know least. you arrogant native engish speakers really think its some kind of international law to be fluent in that ghastly language of yours, aren't you? sorry, but THAT really p*sses me off
Absolutely, or the questioner could be deaf as the syntax is quite different. The answer is Tula or Caroline Cossey who debuted in 'For Your Eyes Only'.
Tartanwiz - pardon me for being accurate but Smorodina was making a serious point which was not intended to be a "good joke" and which therefore does not warrant a "ha ha" response. BSL does indeed have a different grammatical structure from English. It is possible that the questionner may have been a BSL user with English only as a second language.
I will not insult your intelligence by explaining what "BSL" stands for.
Thanks bernado. There's a guy who posts at
http://www.the-mausoleum-club.org.uk/
who
is deaf and his syntax resembles the question above. Perhaps tartanwiz could pop over there for some enlightenment.
