There is a masonic symbol painted on a bridge in the valley around our village. Anyone have any idea why it would be painted there? Does anyone have any idea why it would be painted there in the middle of the countryside. It's a modern brick built bridge, painted white and black with the symbol in black.

Many thanks, Kimbers

Are you sure of the symbol's origin?

How have you verified same?

It could be an ironmonger's crest....

your description of the symbol is not realy clear, for so far I know a genuing massonic symbol would not be in colors, you do not tell us how big the symbol is. Could you please also tell us in witch area this bridge is? If you could send me a picture of it, it is sure that I can tell you if it is a Massonic symbol or not. you can send it at the following address [email protected]
