Ermm.... as fantastic as that Top 10 is, Rebecca666, it is completely wrong! Not one of those songs was even in the Top 40 at the time (& Penny Lane never got to No.1)
The real UK Top 10 of mid-October 1967 was:
1. Massachusetts - The Bee Gees
2. The Last Waltz - Engelbert Humperdinck
3. Hole In My Shoe - Traffic
4. Flowers In The Rain - The Move
5. The Letter - Box Tops
6. Baby Now That I've Found You - The Foundations
7. Homburg - Procol Harum
8. From The Underworld - Herd
9. There Must Be A Way - Frankie Vaughan
10. Zabadak - Dave, Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich
