Whitechapel Road

Hi please can anyone remember the large Furniture Shop at the end of Whitechapel Road, just near the Old ABC picture house (lol) leading into Mile End. It stood right on the corner and you could buy furniture on the never never. Am desperate to finding the name of it. Thanks

just a guess, as my ex hubbies step grandfather had a furniture shop around there, Emmanuel's or Manalinskis maybe, they were Ukrainian.
