Friday 13th
It's here again. Friday the thirteenth. Now I'm not supersticious (touch wood), but what horrid things have happened to you on this supposedly unlucky day?

But I am happy to say this year my best friend of 20 years has had her first child today so its the best one I've experienced so far.
well, here we are having a hurricane, Floridians are. but on second thought, they happen at any time during the season. so you can't really blame it on the 13th. let's see, Julius Cesar was killed on March the 15th. i got married Sep. 24th. the Trade towers were attacked on Sep. 11. no, i think Friday the 13th is just a beleif, and very bad things are going to happen at any day regardless of the actual number.
This year I was in France and although it's not a major thing when we were having a meal on a stone terrace in a restaurant I first dropped a fork - loudly. Then the knife. Then I knocked over my full glass of wine all over the table and myself. Then I turned said skirt green by rubbing it with a napkin. Then even though I ordered squid for a starter I got ham salad (I HATE ham). Then at the end of the meal after half an hour of waiting and trying to attract the waiter's attention for the bill - by this stage we'd given up on ever seeing the dessert menu - we left some cash on the table and slouched off. Knowing my luck it blew away and we're blacklisted forever!!!
