cheers quizmonster.wish they would play it around my way.use to be in a league years ago down in bournemouth.
I know how you feel, V. When we asked the landlord of our local what had happened to the old board, he found it had been stuck behind a radiator in a storeroom for years. It was, of course, cracked and warped beyond repair. Crib, shove-ha'penny and dominoes were so much more entertaining than karaoke and juke-boxes!
I have a board at home ! We used to run a pub and it came with us when we left !!
I still have my Grandfather's winning medals from his pub team (The Lamb in Worthing, if you are interested).

i agree quizmonster.there used to be this oldfellow in our pub,the shoulder of mutton,and he was the chap to beat,but the only way we could win was late at night after he had a few drinks!good old days.no j2buttonsw i never won any medals ,your grandfather must have been good.
