Does the US have Osama

Is the US / President Bush hiding Osama Bin Laden till closer to the election? So Bush can pull him out at the last minute and win the election that way.

Hmmmm I would say that pulling Osama out of a hat like a rabbit just to win an election would prove to be the single biggest mistake Bush could ever make. His country would be thrown into massive civil unrest, the Armed Forces alone would revolt at such a sick trick. Afterall, if you were putting your life on the line just to find that the bloke you are trying to find has been alive and well and under the care of your boss, you'd pretty much be pi55ed off at him and want to take action. Not a nice thought at all. As if the Military haven't had enough sh1t over the WMD's some sick ba5tard pulls this trick!!

Not sure that was his point. I think he meant that Bush could pretend that he has just caught him, when in fact he had him all along.

I think it would be an election winner whenever he announced it, I don't think 'hanging on' to him until hte last minute would make a difference.

Hi Berty, yeah I know what you mean about pretending he has just been caught. Do you think that GWB is soooo intent on bettering what his father did that he would stoop this low? Ha! This has been my theory all along, that Bush is going to have "suddenly" caught Osama. It wouldn't be the first time an election had been thrown by an "October Surprize." If it's not catching Osama, I expect that the Bush campaign will pull something else out of their hats in October. And yes, MrsCheeks - I am positive that Bush would stoop this low. He already has, with the Swift Boat Veterans for Smear Campaigns. He *says* he has nothing to do with them, but two people so far have resigned from his campaign staff because they were found to be connected with the SBVFSC. I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist, but Bush has been so consistently and defiantly secretive and underhanded, that I've lost all expectation of decency from him.

I would think it more likely that they know exactly where he is currently and when the time is right they will move in and capture him.

No way!!!! If that were the case, why didnt they hold Saddam until election time? Or better yet, suddenly unearth some of the WMD`S?? As far as the "smear" campaign, hasant John Kerry done the same thing? In over half of his speeches he spends 99% of his time saying what he thinks President Bush has done wrong, and not enough time saying what he wants to do for the country....Kerry cant even make up his mind of if he even voted for or against the war in Iraq and gets an attitude when he`s pressed on it! As far as his running mate John Edwards all I see is him promising to bring jobs and better healthcare to the entire country....well he couldnt even deliver that to the people of North Carolina, where a large textile plant shut down and thousands of people lost their paychecks and insurance. These people have yet to lay eyes on John Edwards. And he expects me to believe that he can provide jobs for the entire country when he never even tried to do it for his state...HaHa...
