my step dad has always loved making model soldiers. From teeny tiny metal ones to action man sized. He pays great attention to detail and they are mounted on beautiful wooden stands. Thing is, what should he do with them now? He has loads. He doesn't want to sell them but it seems a shame that they are just stuck in boxes. I know he has thrown lots away as he has so many. I think some people would like to see them - but who? and how? I would really appreciate any suggestions.
Hmmm, i would love to see them.
If your selling them , let me know how much.
If not, he should exhibit them or take photos and put them on a site or summat (there are sites out there).
He should show his creations off. It must have took him thousands of man hours.
I used to collect them when i was a little boy, i used to love the attention to detail on them...
Maybe he could put them on top of some sand dunes in the Afghan desert to trick the Taliban into thinking we have a larger military prescence than we actually do.
I'm sure through field glasses from 500m away they'd look like the real thing.
If you have the capacity to keep them, these are the type of things that become extremely collectable in future times, but its having the storage space and foresight to hang on to them that makes them valuable
MrBen5: sorry for the delay, i've been on hloiday.
I know what you mean about showing them off, but what lind of website would you recommend? thank you x
