Was there a HMS MARY BOLEYN built in approx 1520?

I've researched all ships of the Royal Navy during Tudor times and have come up a blank. Mary was the older sister of Anne Boleyn, 2nd wife of Henry VIII but there is no ship named after her either, not even after her daughter Elizabeth Tudor came to the throne of England. 'Mary Rose', built in Henry's time was named after his daughter Mary and the 'Rose' part signifies the Tudor symbol of a rose.
Sorry I can't be of any more help.

The Mary Rose is said to have been named after Princess Mary (Mary Rose Tudor), Henry VIII's youngest sister, not his daughter.

The origin of this question would appear to be the book by Phillippa Gregory "The Other Boleyn Girl". This is a novel 'written' in the 1st person by Mary Boleyn in which she describes going to the shipwrights to witness the launch of a ship named by Henry 8 in her honour.
In view of fenultimate's answer it just goes to show that you can't trust novels for accurate history!

earl of rochester had a ship the mary bullen, his daughters name, but not a part of british naval fleet as it was a merchantman

The Mary Boleyn was an actual warship in 1523 but because she was only a mistress and later the King married her sister, it was not very publicized. It could be because of the King's marriage to Anne and she did not like the fact that her sister was his lover before her.

Trust me, I went to see the papers from Tudor times with the warships written down

and I have several dozen books on Tudor times
