Recruitment Agencies

Does anyone else find these agencies a waste of time? I have joined two in order to try and get another job but find they never phone you and seem to forget about you.I spend 40 minutes filling in the form then have a talk with the consultant then get sent away with various pamphlets to read and thats it.Seems to me that they are more interested in the employers than the candidates.Trouble is the majority of jobs in the jobcenter are through agencies now(Factories and warehouses).People say to me that you have to join as many agencies as possible in order to get results but I am tired of chasing them up all of the time.

Still no joy with them. I will stick with the jobcenter to help me.I am only after a factory job or warehouse one as I am not qualified for much else.
