Just before the 2 minute silence for rememberance sunday yesterday, steve wright took a diversion from his usual love song requests and played an instrumental.

The music was lovely. I have not a clue what it is, and missed the introduction - does anyone know?

I have just ordered it from Amazon.
If anyone else is interested: it's from the album The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. Sung by the National Young Choir for Great Britain.

It is truly lovely, and quite heart rendering.

Have tears in my eyes after listening & watching that video Ethel, just as I do whenever I watch similar programmes on tv.

It makes me think of some of my husband's relatives....

I often have Classic FM on in my car too, nothing like a peaceful, thought provoking drive.

That's so true. I know I am one of the first to be a little bit daft on here, given the chance. But if only one person listens to this music & finds it as touching & beautiful as I did yesterday - then yes, that is what makes AB worthwhile.

And I mean that, so I do. :-)
