i am quite a good pop guitar player will I still be able to take my guitar playing in the afterlife and enjoy my songs and other people's pop songs in the afterlife

A book I read a long time ago said that Mozart, Beethoven & Co are still composing wonderful music in the afterlife, clearly dispelling the myth that everyone ends up sitting on a cloud playing the harp - but I have to admit I didn't bother reading the follow up. :o)

Alas, colrox, 'quite a good pop guitar player' shows you to be guilty of the Deadly Sin of Pride, which means that your guitar will be consumed in the flames that you will have to bear for eternity.
Perhaps you could correct it to 'pretty poor guitar player' before God notices. I hear that he never reads AB until after his first gin at noon.

I agree that music is part of your soul, but I prefer to say that one's ability to produce it is a natural talent rather than a 'gift'. That presupposes it comes from elsewhere.
