Maritime Museum

Does anyone know of a maritime museum in or near Bristol who would be interested in the following items:-
A portrait (enlarged photograph, head and shoulders, in old frame) of my father in his uniform as an able bodied seaman serving on H.M.S. Hood between the wars.
Documents regarding his service.
I woould like to see them serving a useful purpose.

My father served on the "Hood" as a telegrapher and was dispatched to another ship before the sinking. I would think that your Legion branch might be interested. However, I would keep the originals....make copies.
