Sorry but I don't understand the question --- maybe that's why it has been unanswered for so long? Could you explain what you're after in a bit more detail?

It was meant when the credit as a measure of a student work load appeared in some countries, because there exists the other type of measurement - academic hours . ANd why exactly the credit was wide spread in western countries not academic hours.
I've checked with the Department For Education And Skills and they've never heard of Credit In Education; as I suspected, it isn't currently practiced here in the UK. Best trying an approach to the US Dept of Education or other in countries where you know it is used. Sorry not to be of more help.
