They have to be taken down before 12th night which is 6th jan, i;ve remobved every trace as far as i can tell this afternoon, it's taken ages as i convert everything to christmas ornaments and wall decs etc, i have filled 8 boxes with stuff and now they need to go in the attic

the OED definition cited on this site says 12th night is this evening, there's also a bit that explains why it's not tomorrow.

I know salla, i have a collection of christmas snow globes that takes 3 empty crisp boxes alone : ( Then 3 fibre optic ornaments, a fairy, a santa and a snowman, a large 8st tree takes 4 shoe boxes or ornaments, i have a collection of white and silver ornaments that go in front of the tv every year and they need a big box, 4 lots of led flowers, oh and the porcelain nativity scene, the wall xmas tree that sits flat on the wall too, 2 3 fiit plush velvet light up santas, errr, the gold led sleigh that holds chocs and sweets, errr 3 gold candle sticks wirh candles and the table decorations and the light up wall decs, a parachuting santa in a black and white sants suit. It is a bit chrismassy here every year. Oh yes and the door wreath and the outside lights.
