Publications - anyone interested

I have some magazines that go back some time, decades in some cases, that I have kept but now would like to clear out. These are not mainstream stuff but would more likely be classed as special interest material. Ideally, I would like to pass them on to an organisaton or individual who genuinely is interested in them to keep rather than put them in for paper recycling - once they are gone they are gone. There may be the odd one missing but generally they are all there for many years of issue. Can anyone suggest a wide reaching but simple way to put them up for adoption ?

Have you googled the 'area' of your interest ?
This will doubtless throw up links to the 'specialist interest' sites and you may have more luck contacting like-minded people.

If they are of local history, why not offer them to local historical society or even library
