Has anyone on this site ever done the diploma in social studies course thru distance learning with I.F.A.E. ? Doin the exam at the moment and it sure is hard,

Hi, I have done it in November last and I found it hard to but I have just been awarded my Diploma so I am really thrilled. If you do the instructed essays first you will find that you come up with ideas for the others. I counted that I wrote over 30 essays some of them 3000 words while doing the IFAE course. Not threatened any more by the idea of essays. I am applying for a BA degree now in Galway, My application form looks alot better now that I have done got an Honours qualification!! Hi Power pat , I found the exam the most stressful thing i ever did , I didnt understand half the questions . still i have it ready to post tomor. Not holding out much hope , but i am not depending on it , I just did it for something to do at home , didnt realise it was so vast . Fair play to u for getting diploma! How long did u have to wait for results ?

I'd imagine if your finishing it now you'd have results in June just enough time to recover!! (lol) I am sure u did much better than you think, there are loads of questions and u get marks for everything u do, I did better in the exam than in most of the assessments so I was really happily surprised.

Good Luck with BA in Galway. I too live in Galway. There will be some celebration if i pass. Did alright on assessments . Mostly As and Bs, but exam was a different story !

Hi powerpat , just to let u know i actually passed exam with second class honours . Woohoo !!!
