Politically important - the see of canterbury was vacant at the time of ELizabeth's coronation - i think she chose Whitgift - and E could not find any bishop to crown according to EdwardVI's rite and so E is the last one to be crowned in Latin according to the RC rite -surprisingly consdiering what a protestant at heart she was.
