Descended from 'Spanish Armada'
My late Nan always maintained that we are descendants of the Spanish sailors from The Armada who were ship wrecked off the coast of Scotland. I used to think this was a load of rubbish, until I saw a programme about The Spanish Armada and found out that there were survivors who made their home in Scotland. (I also know I have Scottish descendants) How on earth would I go about finding out?
We all have black hair and tan easily by the way and I actually married a half-Spaniard. When we were in Spain nobody suspected that I may be British.
