US bombing raids on Vietnam

My recollection (I was very young then) of the the US bombing raids on Vietnam are of nightly reports on the news of areas bombed, tonnage of bombs dropped etc. Was this the case and does anyone know if this subject (bombing raids) is documented anywhere?

It always amazes me that the US critisizes terrorists yet Agent Orange was responsible for about 400,000 deaths, and 500,000 birth defects.

And yet they go on and on about 9/11
