these pyramids house the remains of kings in an African republic that previously formed part of the ancient Kingdom of Kush. The river Nile can also be found here. Name the country.

You've posted this already in Q&P - Egypt http://www.africa.mrdonn.org/kush.html
I'm puzzled as to why you keep posting (multiple posting) these Telegraph questions on here. Several times I've given you the link to a site which gives you the answers to this competition. Can't you just look on there each time?

I cant believe anyone does not know where the pyramids and the nile are.

Surely a search on "Nile" would get the answer in seconds.

I despair sometimes.
Yes - some folk seem to be really stupid.
not necessarily stupid but certainly lazy
'Tis ironic that those making accusations of stupidity and laziness have assumed Egypt is the correct answer, which in this case it isn't.
the thing is, ABerrant, you can't necessarily tell from the question; it has to be read in conjunction with the photo the Telegraph ran, which clearly shows non-Egyptian pyramids. But from the more limited information comerton45 has posted, Egypt would be a reasonable answer.
No, jno, ABerrant is right. The question doesn't have to be read in conjunction with any photographs at all.

I did a Google search (without looking at the links posted by boxtops and factor30) on Kush, picked up the Wikipedia link and scanned the article about the Kush civilisation. In it there is mention that they built pyramids, and at the bottom there was a link to another article about Nubian pyramids. Clicking in that gives you the location of them - modern day Sudan.

Total time taken, less than 3 minutes
I agree, I did exactly the same as Huderon when I posted a few days ago.
parts of Egypt were in Kush too. So Egypt formed part of Kush, is an African republic, and has part of the Nile, and pyramids too; so I think it's a legit answer.... unless you see the photos..
