Links Not Opening In IE8
Having used IE8 since it was made available with no problems, It has suddenly started to not open any website links I receive in an e-mail. It works fine if I click on a link after Googling something for example, the problem seems to be with e-mail links only.
If I click on an e-mail link IE8 opens and just hangs doing nothing. No progress bar, nothing.
Anyone any idea what's causing the problem?

Most IE problems are caused by add-ins rather than by IE itself, try dissabling all add-ins, if it then works OK you can start re enabling add-ins one at a time until you fond the one causing the problem.
To disable your add-ins click tools > manage add-ins.

I am confused now. I started by disabling Live Search & Search Google on the Search Providers tab and e-mail links now worked again. I enabled them one at a time and the links still work.
Not sure what disabling these would have done anyway as Google is my No 1 Search Provider anyway.
I then disabled Blog, Email, Map & Translate on the Accelerators tab as I have no idea what these do. They are associated with live.com which is something I don't use, as far as I know.
Thanks anyway Chuck as the problem seems to have cleared. I'll never understand the idiocyncrasies of PCs.
