Moss indoors!!

Hi, I have a metal framed sunroom on the back of my bungalow. It has a plastic corrugated roof and this year for the first time i have moss growing between the metal framework and the roof. I guess i will have to poke this out (messy) but once I have done that I would like to prevent it happening again. I have been here for 14 years and never noticed it before so any suggestions as to how to stop it would be gratefully received Janet

I have heard that disinfectant does the trick. My neighbour has this roof (3 layers) and somehow the moss is growing between her layers.
