Need advice on guying a garden shed online
7 Answers
Hi everyone
I want to buy a garden shed for my dad. Many are beyond what I can afford for one approx 5' x 7'. I've found some more reasonably price sheds from online suppliers though.
Has anyone any experience buying a shed this way? If so, any advice would be gratefully received. If you feel you can recommend any supplier that would be good, but equally if you've had any problems ordering online that would be useful to know too.
I know you get what you pay for. But there must be a middle course out there ie a reasonably priced shed that won't fall apart after one winter.
Thank you so much.

Hi bizzylizzy, I bought my shed on-line, and I was able to have it configured to fit in the space available. I also paid £100 to have it erected, as it was behind my brick workshop and was too big for me to handle, 5ft x 10ft. However, the price of the sheds (at least the ones sold by the company I used) has increased alarmingly, but this is the site I used and I cannot fault the product or the service: http://www.ttsb.co.uk...ex&w=1&lv=352&pid=899
My comment about the prices was added because I can't believe the change in two years

I've just been looking at a couple of sites, shedstore and shedsworld, the prices seem very good, but as with all things online, you sometimes don't know what the quality is going to be like until it arrives. Thanks for your answers so far guys. I know my mum can get a discount at B&Q on one day a week, so that's certainly worth a look pinkilady, thank you. I looked at your site e.crespo - thank you for the link but the prices are way too much for me. I really only need a basic shed for my dad who's in his eighties and only potters in the garden.
