My up and over garage door has collapsed on me.The left hand cable has snapped and the door was left at an acute angle into the lane.I have managed to close it with a bit of juggling but can anyone tell me if this repairable or am I looking at a new a new door, I believe repair kits are available and if so can you help.Cheers.S.O.g

There are several types. You need to know date and manufacturer /model.
You might just need a couple of cones/ cables.

Hello Wolf. Fortunately I was able to get out of the way before it did a onesided dive. I have since managed to juggle it back into a closed position so it can't fall on anyone else. However I still have to get it repaired and finding the right bits to fix it is becoming a nightmare ( make ,model, pre 1990/post 1990.etc).however I'll get there in the end. Thank you all again .S.O.G
