What to do with a disused boiler?
My sister has changed from oil to gas for her central heating but now has a boiler sitting in its little brick house in the yard doing nothing.
What should she do with it?
What I mean is - is it likely to be of any use to anyone else?
Does that depend on the make/model/year etc?
Is it likely to be worth anything?
If it has no value then how should it be disposed of?
etc etc etc
Thanks.

Lots of things go that way on Freecycle, a case of one man's junk...another man's treasure. I'd give that a try, if she's not already a member you just sign up and post...it's free.
If it is complete .. and WAS working fine ... eBay it complete.
You need the year and a manual and any Flue connections available .. especially the adapter out of the boiler (whether rear or top)
It was made from 1996. Pretty reasonable boiler.
Some Boulter's that size and 5 years old go to 140 quid on eBay (because I just swapped one for a family .. and that one we collected as an eBay purchase)
