Hi all,
I have seen these adverts in the newspapers about claiming for deafness caused by noisy environment in the work place. I had a ear drum burst due to excessive noise in the 1970,s. is there a time limit? I did go to the doctor and the hispital and was told that the ear was damaged for ever and not to go into the noisy room again without ear defenders. ( the room had three 90 horsepower machines pulverising corn, a tiny room, noise like a jumbo jet engine) ear defenders were not supplied until I complained, but too late for one ear. I have suffered with deafness in that ear for 30 years. can I claim???

As far as know, there is no time limit for industrial deafness and I would suggest that you consult a lawyer.
