Hi

I have just bought a wireless alarm system for my house and am about to set it up, my neighbour also has a wireless alarm system on his house, will my alarm frequency interfere with his alarm system and vice versa ???

they ususally have two or three channels to avoid this...it should tell you in the instructions
the alarm is like electronic car keys, you can point yours and press the button at every parked car you see, and it will not open the doors. So the chances of your alarm bleeding over to a neighbour is a 1000 to 1 chance. plus the wireless range is very limited. unless of course you bought the system in the local pound shop, then who knows what might happen.
as pp says there are 1000s of combinations of these units......all your detectors (door contacts, PIRs, key fobs, keypads ete, etc) will need to be "paired" with the bell box which is the main unit......the main unit will also have an "anti jamming" switch to also prevent any other equipment learning the frequency code of your device.
