A lathe is handy for that sort of thing. But if I had to do it I'd just mark them out, cut them out roughly with a coping saw, then file/sand to the exact edge.

thanks geezer yes been told a lathe is the way to go but i dont have one, but the coping saw and sand down idea could work ,been few years since i last used ccoping saw but will give it a go and see...
Some routers have an attachment for cutting discs all it leaves is a small screw hole in the centre, with nice smooth edges.

thanks paddy will look into that also..but really could of done without having a hole in centre as i was hoping to avoid that....
Honey, the router I had was an old Black &Decker and all you did was use a small wood screw to act as a pivot point. I cut several discs over the years with it and the screw hole was barely noticeable and a pinch of wood filler soon cured that.
Provided you mount the power drill in a vertical stand (or use a conventional pillar drill) and clamp down the wood sheet from which the discs are to cut, you can dispense with the central small pilot wood drill in the middle of those tool cutter gadgets. Some designs of tool cutter have the ability to remove this central pilot drill (and some do not as it forms the main shaft of the tool). Just make sure the circular saw part is extremely sharp and go at it very slowly as you initially bite into the wood surface.
