have had chimney removed , have gas central heating (combi boiler) do i still need ventilation grille in lounge where fireplace used to be,or can i remove it before i decorate

If the flue has been "roofed over" where the chimney stack used to be, then there really isn't such a pressing need for ventilation if you want to get rid of it.
